When is SUGAR beneficial?

 

Sugar is NOT beneficial on the inside...especially to your complexion!

Not only does sugar contribute to weight gain, it has been found to aggressively damage your complexion from the inside out. The natural process of glycation is when the sugar in your bloodstream attaches to proteins to form harmful new molecules called advanced glycation end products  (AGEs for short). The more sugar you eat, the more AGEs you develop.  Most vulnerable to damage are collagen and elastin, the protein fibers that keep your skin firm and elastic. 

The good news about sugar-damaged skin is that you can diminish the effects by consciously eliminating sugar.
Look carefully at the sugar content in your nourishment particularly processed foods, most bottled drinks, and obviously sweets.  Limiting sugar in your diet is a well-known key to longevity because of all the molecules capable of inflicting damage in your organs, sugar molecules are probably the most damaging.
 
A Sugar Scrub is a great  for your skin on the outside!

A simple body sugar scrub blend of of one part fine granulated sugar and two parts oil such as coconut, sesame, or any massage oil in the shower will leave your skin soft, exfoliated, and hydrated.
A sugar scrub every week or two is best.

Keep your sugar handy in the shower instead of the kitchen cupboard.
